St Andrew’s, Milngavie

The congregation of St Andrew’s is a small, but highly pro-active one, with a pastoral list of 52. On most Sundays there is an attendance of around 28 of all ages. Several members of the congregation are involved in leading worship, reading lessons and leading intercessions. St Andrew’s share two lay Readers and a Pastoral Assistant with All Saints.

We have a small Sunday School that meets during the morning service at 9.15am.

Community Prayers are held every Tuesday from 10.00-10.30am and a said Eucahrist on Thursdays at 10am. The Fellowship meet on the first Thursday of the month for a corporate communion at 10am. We use the Blue Book Liturgy (1982) and Hymns for Today’s Church at most services, along with occasional use of Mission Praise and Taize praise.

Members of the congregation lead Evening Prayer at 3.30pm during winter months and 6.30pm in the summer (BST).
