Sunday 15th March, after the service
Members of the Sunday School Team will provide a simple Lent Lunch of soup and bread, followed by tea/coffee and biscuits to raise funds for “Aquaboxes”, this year’s Bishop’s Lent Appeal.
Run by Rotary International, “Aquaboxes” aim to provide, in the wake of both man-made and natural disasters, a rapid response provision of safe drinking water and welfare aid items. They provide a fast and economical way to deliver water purification supplies to communities at risk of waterborne disease. More details can be found at www.aquabox.org
